Thanks to all everyone who has participated in our 2009 Codebearers Challenges Game/Contest!

The latest contest has officially ended and point earning has been put "on hold" while we tally up the points. Be forewarned, this will take some time - so keep your shirts on. We owe it to everyone to make sure that the points earned via the "Spread the Word"(reviews) and "Recruit a Friend" tools are legitimate.

For those of you who participated and are anxiously awaiting the news that you are the $400 grand prize winner (or one of the 4 awesome runner ups) here's how the points validation process will work:

From December 16th to December 23rd, we will be combing through the top 20 point earners to validate that their points for the following activities are legitimate. If any questionable points are discovered through our validation process, we will email the member with our questions and they will be given 48 hours to respond with an acceptable answer. After that 48 hour window, if no reply has been received, the member will forfeit the points in question. (So stay close to your email!) We will plan on announcing the winners at the end of this process on December 23rd.

Point Validation Process Details:
*"Spread the Word" validation = following every reported review link (between 1/1/09 and 12/15/09) and confirm that a review written by the member actually exists there. If there is any trouble finding the review, we will email the member to allow them to provide an explanation (48 hour reply window)

*"Recruit a Friend" validation = cross-checking that recruited friends are real. We will email the member to allow them to provide explanations for any questionable recruits (48 hour reply window)

*Photo Contests = We will be going through the Photo Contest forum threads and awarding 500 points to for each shared photo and one 5,000 point bonus to the photo we liked best.

For all her efforts, she has won a $400 Best Buy gift card. (We all want to know: "Whatcha gonna buy us?")

For their efforts, each runner-up will receive a special Miller Brothers autographed photo and one of the awesome, newly minted, 2010 Edition Codebearers Medallions (created by Bob Siemon Designs). These are so HOT, they are not even sold in stores yet... look for them in 2010...
