Rewards for All!

Hi gang, we're trying something new on the Codebearers site. It's a rewards program that offers perks in exchange for your social actions on our website. For example: if you visit the site and have signed up for the Rewards program...you'll get 100pts each day you visit. If you comment on a blog post, another 100pts each day. Total points earned per day is capped at 300 pts currently.

 

After 3000 pts you'll receive a $3 starbucks gift card

After 5000 pts you'll get a $5 iTunes gift gard

After 10000 pts you'll get a $15 Amazon.com gift card

 

Currently, you must have a Facebook account or have your parents permission to sign in with their Facebook account so that you can collect these rewards. It will track your social actions and even give bonus points for "liking" videos. Anywhere you see the red bookmark - you'll earn points.

 

It's a simple way for Rewarding you all for being a special part of our Codebearers community. 

 

If you are experiencing trouble with this service, please post your comments here so I can see if we can fix the issues. So far, it looks like we've had about 50 of you earning points. Way to go guys!

 

* be sure to note what browser (Firefox, IE, Safari, Chrome, etc) and platform (PC/Mac) you are using so we can best troubleshoot any issues you may have.

Just noticed there seems to be some UI issues for Internet Explorer users. Stay tuned, we're already working on it!

I use firefox and it wasn't working for me this afternoon. Anyhow hope that helps you guys! (this is a side note but do you know if we are going to have the codebearers challenges back?)

Oh I just thought of something, do you have to log in to codeberers useing Facebook or something? Because if so that's probably my problem :-P

You will after you click on to the Rewards bookmark...but it shouldn't "wig out" on you. It should give you a chance to login with your Facebook credentials. What do you see when you click on the Red Bookmark?

It says it's loading and then it says it's not then it says it's loading and so on and my screen gets all lighter, and it never does load no matter how long you leave it. (I can't remember if the lighter flashed between normal or not, but I don't think it did....)

I use XP on a PC laptop, and my main browser is Internet Explorer, and the red bookmark works fine for me, except i am not allowed to have a facebook account, because im only 12.

 

So, I am not able to earn points....

Will pop up blockers block it? Because I Have one of those I think but it usually tells me when it blocks something and gives me a chance to release it if I want to.

I got a Windows XP I think. I use Internet Explorer, and I don't have a facebook account. My mom does and she clicked it using hers and the only things that showed up was the Josh Wilson song and an exit button (and lots of white).
