Okay so it's November, and Thanksgiving is just over a week away. What are your favorite dishes? Any recipes you want to share? Any thoughts on the guy who founded Thanksgiving? Governer William Bradford Why DO we eat turkey and not a bunch of cornish game hens?

btw, Canadians don't have Thanksgiving in December or November. We're too cool for that (as in cold lol). :)

Most Canadian holidays are early (to me at least). So it was in Oct. for Canadians and is next week for Americans. Yes, I know, quite confusing.
Anyhow, I LOVE thanksgiving! My birthday has always been so close, so I kinda claimed the holiday as my own, for as long as I can remember :-P
