The Christian Crusaders: The Desert Journey
I am writing a book and I will be posting it on this discussion.(I am so excited!) So the story behind my story is interesting. I just started typing a paragraph because i was going to show my dad something on the internet and i came up with the prologue that you are going to be reading. I had no intentions of it being a story, but here I am. This is my very first time doing this so I may not post the chapters very fast, but I will try my best. That's about all, so I hope you enjoy reading my book.
Oh, and one more thing. I am not tyring to be or anything, but those of you who read this please do not take any parts or ideas from my book. Thanks and enjoy!

Chapter Eighteen
Minutes later Zafar received the coordinates to Kony’s base and forwarded them to the airport. This could be our big opportunity to catch Kony, but he probably had dozens of bases scattered in the desert. No doubt he would abandon the base he was at right now after he got the ransom money. What we needed was a plan, but we only had two days. That wasn’t much time come up with something and get three million dollars, but maybe, just maybe we wouldn’t need the money.
The time passed slowly for me, but eventually we made it back to the airport. The helicopter descended down to the ground and the engine went dead as I turned it off. My men and I stepped out of the helicopters and they began to open the part of the helicopter where the captain’s body was. I motioned for one of the men to come to me. “Make sure you find out who he is and inform his family of his death. I’m sure they will want to prepare a proper funeral for him.” The man nodded went back to helping the men. A few minutes later one of the men came back driving a jeep to transport the body. After it was loaded onto the back of the jeep the man drove off.
While the rest of the men began refueling the helicopters for their next use I called a jeep to come pick me up. I had to inform the manager of the airport of the death of the captain and Kony. The jeep arrived and I got into the passenger’s seat. “Take me to an entrance.” The man nodded and began driving towards the nearest one.
A minute later the jeep came to a stop in front of a door and I got out. “Thank you.” I said as I opened the door. I then proceeded to walk through the airport until I reached the stairs that led up to the manager’s office. When I reached the door I knocked and waited. There was the sound of a chair creaking as someone got up and then the sound of footsteps approaching the door. The nob turned and the door opened. The manager stood in the doorway. “Oh, Zafar come in, come in.” He said cheerfully. I walked in and he motioned for me to sit down. “How are things these…..”He must have noticed the look on my face because he stopped his sentence. “Zafar what’s wrong?”
I looked up with a sad face. “We found the plane that was missing. That is what I came here to talk about.”
“I see. What happened?” asked the manager.
“The plane crashed, killing the pilot.”
“What about the passengers?”
“They are missing.”
The manager stood up anxiously. “We have to find them.” He said worriedly. “If word of something like this were to get out, my reputation would be……’
I cut him off. “Listen to me.” I said very seriously. “We know where they are, but we can’t get them……yet.”
“What do you mean?”
“Joseph Kony has them.” I looked away.
“B-but how?”
I began to tell him the story of how we went out searching for the plane and its missing passengers. I then went on and told him of how Kony had contacted me and how he was holding them for ransom. By the time I had finished my story we had both come to the same conclusion. This was a now a job for the army.
I know some of you are probally wondering why there hasn't been that much action. It is going to be getting more exciting, i promise. Just to tell you there is going to be some suprises in the next chapter.

WHOA! I just learned who Kony is!!! Our town is like doing a massive thing to start bring up awareness about him.

and a question for all of you.
If you were taken by Kony would you:
A. Attack him.
B. Try to escape
C. Show him God's love and try to bring him to Christ.
As a Christian what would you do?
