That's about all, so I hope you enjoy reading my book. Oh, and one more thing. I am not tyring to be or anything, but those of you who read this please do not take any parts or ideas from my book. Thanks and enjoy!

well, i deleted my post with the chapter on it and reposted it in the same spot after i fixed the mistakes.

Oh okay.....

sorry I took so long, I just haven't been writing lately. Hope you enjoy it though!

Chapter Twenty Two

Zafar began folding up the map. “Does everybody understand?” The men nodded. “Sargent Cody, gather your men and prepare your fighters.”

Cody nodded and smiled. “Yes, sir.” He replied.

Zafar turned his head to look at General Johnson. “I know what to do.” The general said.

“Then we’re all set.” Zafar replied.  “We’ll move out as soon as everybody’s ready.

*****************

Clayton awoke and yawned. He sighed when he remembered where he was. “Come on Zafar!” He whispered to himself. Jason stirred and I looked towards his direction. “Sorry if I woke you.”

“It’s okay. It’s kind of hard to sleep in here anyways.” Jason replied.

“Could you guys keep it down?” Aliyah groaned.

“Sorry.” Jason said weakly.

Clayton’s stomach growled. “I wish they’d give us something to eat.” He complained.

An hour went by and the tarp was pulled of the cage and it was pulled up. A man opened the cage door and carelessly threw them two loaves of bread and a bottle of water. “That’s all you get.” He paused. “Enjoy it while you can.”

We gratefully took the food and water and then we were lowered back down. Once we were back at the bottom the tarp was put back over the hole.

I wonder what he meant by that.” Clayton thought to himself and then sat down to divide the bread. They all ate it gratefully, but were still hungry.

“And that’s all they’re going to give us?” Kylie asked.

“I guess it’s better than nothing.” Jason said wearily.

“I just wish that they’d hurry up and get us out of here.” She complained.

Clayton sighed. “Me too.”

***************

Zafar and his men got into a military helicopter and prepared to take off. The pilot started the engine and the rotor blades began to spin. Three other helicopters did the same and within a minute all four were airborne, heading towards the coordinates that Kony had given them. Each helicopter carried twenty men, all equipped with guns and whatever they needed to succeed in their mission.

One man from each helicopter went over the plan with the men several more times.  Zafar began explaining it again. “Our objective is to rescue three Americans. We get them and get out, hopefully destroying Kony’s base in the process. He doesn’t know we are coming, so we have the element of surprise. We must take advantage of that.” He paused and studied the men’s faces. They were all experienced men in combat and they would do their job well. “Does everybody understand?” He asked. The men nodded. “Good.”

***************

The time passed slowly and it seemed like Clayton and his friends had been in the cage for days, but finally the tarp was pulled off again. “Finally, we get some light.” Jason grumbled. The cage began pulling up again and they shielded their eyes from the light. Waiting at the top was a gruff looking man with a hawk-like look in his eyes. He looked at us one by one and then began unlocking the cage. The door swung open and he pointed at Jason.

“You first.” He said.

“For what?” Jason asked with hint of an attitude.

The man smirked slightly. “It’s time for your execution.”

Ackk!! Not good!

Uh,oh. i agree.
Not good!

*glares at Knight Rider*

lol. *glares back* it's my story, so i can do whatever i want, so ha.

Chapter Twenty Three

Jason’s face turned pale and his mouth went dry. He finally managed to speak. “B-But why?” He asked.

“Kony’s orders.” Was all the man replied.

“W-We still have till tomorrow.” He persisted, but before he could protest anymore, the man grabbed him by the wrist and yanked him out.

Clayton glared at the man and took a punch at him. The man only stared and blocked the punch with ease. Clayton tried to take another punch at him, but before he could the man hit him hard in the jaw and Clayton staggered back, tripping over Kylie. Quickly, the man closed the door and locked it, slipping the key into his pocket. He left, nearly dragging Jason behind him as he went.

“No. This can’t be happening.” Clayton whispered to himself as he got up. As he did, he felt blood trickle down from his lip and he wiped it away with his sleeve.

Kylie began to cry and Clayton felt himself tearing up too. This wasn’t how it was supposed to be.

Clayton watched as Kony appeared and seven men marched behind him, all carrying guns. All seven men stood side by side in a line 45 feet away from the terrified Jason who was shaking all over.

“I don’t want to die God. Is this what you want?” Jason asked, tears beginning to run down his cheeks.

Kony stood of to the side of the men and began shouting directions. “Ready!....” The men raised their rifles. “Aim!....”

Clayton, unable to bare it, spoke up. “This is wrong!” He shouted at Joseph Kony.

Kony looked towards him with a disgusted look.

“This wasn’t the deal. We still have until tomorrow.” Clayton yelled.

Kony smirked. “I changed my mind. You’re my prisoners so I can do whatever I want with you.”

“B-but you can’t do that……” Clayton stammered.

Kony glared at Clayton. He never liked anybody else telling him what to do, especially a little brat like Clayton.  “I’ll be glad to get rid him.” Kony muttered to himself and then faced the men again. Clayton turned his attention back to Jason, tears running down his face.

“I’m sorry Jason.” He whispered. Never would he have thought it would end this way for him and his friends.

Kony faced towards the direction of Jason, stood calmly there for a few seconds, and then spoke up. “Fire!”

Clayton and Kylie tried to look away as the guns bellowed and the muzzles flashed, but their eyes were glued to their friend.

“Jason!” Kylie screamed, beginning to sob.

Jason staggered back, wide eyed as seven little red dots began to appear on his chest. He took one last look at his friends, his face outlined with terror and fear. “G-Good bye.” He whispered and then slumped to the ground…… dead.

*speechless in shock*

*looks around nervously.* uh, because I'm the writer of the book?
