This is the second book after The Felixi! I've also written an RPG and a third book.
I hope you'll enjoy this one as much as the first, but I'm going to warn you. It's going to be quite different.
They're may be blood or gruesome scenes so I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids. Also there's some romance for those of you who are "allergic" to it.
Please feel free to give comments. Don't copy this either please. This is my hard work, I put it up here for people to enjoy, not copy. Thank you and enjoy! -^-^-
She sat there, in her rocking chair, her face toward the window. Her long gray hair was braided then put into a tight bun atop her head. She smiled slightly showing her wrinkles, proving she had been alive for many years. Children ran around her yard laughing and playing, they were so happy on this side of the world. She couldn’t help but to think of all the other children on the world though, the ones that weren’t as lucky and living in the peaceful country. Her eyes were white and cloudy from being blind for so long. She closed them and saw the war ridden side of the world. People young and old, using their powers to kill each other. She opened her eyes and wiped them with a dainty cloth and stood. The others had arrived not too long ago, the last one was ready. She needed to call him home.

Chapter 2: The Perfect World
We ran to each other, grabbing each other’s shoulders and practically dancing around. We laughed and chattered so fast we hardly knew what we were saying. I had never felt so happy in my life.
“I missed you so much!” I told him.
“Me to!” he said. Then he paused looking me up and down. “You’ve grown!” He told me.
I laughed. “Me?! Look at you! Your hair! You’ve changed it! I said.
Newton chuckled “look in the mirror! From lightish blue hair to a darker blue with purple! You’re hardly recognizable! I guess we naturally change.” He said. Suddenly he remembered why he was in the room. “Miss Willow!” He said. “Rea and Zak are attacking each other again and Rea’s using her fire!”
Athia stood abruptly. “Those trouble makers!” She cried. “They’d burn all of my land if I let them!” Though she was old and blind she got up and as quick as a bee she was out the door and yelling at two people outside.
One was flying in the air teasing the other that was throwing balls a fire in anger. When Miss Willow yelled at them they quickly ran over. “Sorry ma’am Zak was bugging me.” The girl said and I recognized her even though she had grown considerably.
“Rea!” I called.
Rea’s hair was much longer and mostly red now with only a touch of orange in it. Then Zak landed beside her and I could hardly believe how much he had grown. His hair now had strips of white in it, but his face looked much more mature! He smacked Rea gently on the back of the head. “Whatever! You started it!” He told her. Apparently he looked mature, but still didn’t act it.
Suddenly they recognized me. “Darson!” Rea cried running over and hugging me.
I smile uncomfortably and pat her on the head. “Hey”
Zak bumped fists with me. “Almost nice to see you!” He joked.
I smirked. “You to.”
Christine was sitting on the porch watching the scene unfold. She had also grown a lot over the years “Hello.” She said tartly. It seemed she still hadn’t quite forgiven me from the whole biting thing. I returned a stiff nod.
I looked around. “Where’s Miya?” I asked.
Just then Miya came around from behind the house. She looked amazing and I felt my heart skip a beat. Her hair seemed even longer and had grown considerably lighter in color. Her face looked much older to. She flashed me a sneaky smile. “I thought I heard some familiar voice and thoughts.” She said. She came over and gave me a hug which I gladly accepted.
Miss Willow was looking a bit grouchy. “Now that we’re finished, you two are in trouble.” She pointed a long nail at Zak and Rea and they both looked down, ashamed. Miss Willow tapped her foot. “Lucky for you your friend is here so I won’t punish you just give you a warning. We want to keep the land in good shape not burn it down!” Her face softened. “Now all of you run along, I’ll be making cookies and lemonade.” She then hobbled on inside.
I now had a chance to look around at the landscape and boy was I amazed! There were grassy hills everywhere with old gorgeous trees scattered around. Large forests in clumps off to the sides which I knew would be awesome for exploring. There were also little rivers and lakes and off in the distance there were great snowy mountains. The sky was crystal blue with little fluffy clouds and the sun was perfectly warm and bright.
For a moment we all were silent, taking in the beauty of the land. I plopped onto the soft grass still staring.
“Isn’t amazing?” whispered Newton.
“Gives me shivers.” I told him.
Newton then began explaining how most of the place worked. “Most of the people here liked to keep the environment healthy so any electronic devices are extremely eco-friendly, but there are very few of those things here and almost no one needs them. The animals are all mostly the same as earths, but there are some others like Dragons and other mythical creatures, but their fairly rare. The town is small and the people mostly do trading instead of using currency, but occasionally if people have it, currency is excepted. Other than that we didn’t know much about anything else around here.”
We laid on the grass talking for quite a while before Miss Willow came outside bringing cookies, lemonade and an assortment of fruit, some recognizable others not.
“Enjoy.” She said with a smile before hobbling to the front porch where a rocking chair sat. She sat down and began knitting, content to do almost nothing.
We chatted and ate for a while longer then we started to fool around and before long we had all felt as if time didn’t exist here and we were all ten years younger. We were soon playing games like hid-and go-seek or tag. Laughing, running and, well, just enjoying each other’s company. It wasn’t just us though. Lots of kid from the neighboring houses joined in. The funny thing was, all of them were very young, not a single child over the age of thirteen.
While we were taking a breather I asked Newton about this. He only shrugged and told me he had never seen any kids older than thirteen on Galena. “Maybe Miss Willows will tell us when she’s ready.” He said. “She says that we must wait, but she has something important to tell us.” He explained.
The day was soon over and Miss Willow showed us the way to our bedrooms, one for the boys and one for the girls. We slept like rocks.
The next day we did chores. This was kind of how we earned our keep. We got firewood, water, milked any animals needed milking, cooked, cleaned and fixed. We didn’t mind though. We were all together so it was quite fun. The rest of the day was much like the other, filled with exploring, playing and laughter. Well, actually that’s how the rest of the days went. Before long I had been there a week, wondering how I come I lived such a busy life back on earth when the simplest of things were even better. I was practically in heaven.
One particular day we found a great watering hole and were all enjoying the water. I wasn’t a big swimmer type so I got out early and dried myself on a sunny, quiet, little hill. Suddenly I heard someone and I sat up shielding my eyes from the sun to see who it was. Because of where the sun was positioned I couldn’t see his face and couldn’t tell who he was,
“Hello?” I asked curiously.
“Hello Squirt.” He said, with a smirk in his voice.
