What do you like about the book you're reading now? What do you hate about it? Discuss it! (Unless it's EoE. Be careful what you say about it!)

I'm reading A Tale of Two Cities for school, and it's so freaking boring!  It has not helped to better my opinion of Dickens, that's for sure.  I'm also reading Kidnapped, though not for school.  It drags at times and is stupid in others, but all in all it's okay.
I read Treasure Island last year, I think, and I thought that one draged.

I have never read the whole Treasure Island.....I could never get into it......i totally agree that it is soooooooooooooo d             r               a                  g               g            i            n           g...................................:)

Well i disagree. I bought it from a bookstore and I thought it was exhilarating.

I agree with you on the grown up Tale of Two Cities. the kid's version was better.

I'm reading The Oath by Frank Peretti right now.

I have only read kid versions of Journey to the Centure of the Earth but read the more grown up version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and thought it was slow so I am nervious to read the more grown up version of Journey to the Centure of the Earth because I like that story.
Yeah, except you can't really call the kids version A Tale of Two Cities since it's completely changed in the transference from adult to kids.  But I would be most glad if I could read that instead of this.
That's kinda what i did for my English class last year when i had to read it.

Currently, I'm reading Black by Ted Dekker. I'm almost done so I'll probably be reading Red tomorrow.

I'm in the process of reading some others too, but they're kind of on hold while I'm reading Black, and then hopefully HB & the Eye of Ends. :D

I'm jealous...  My dad won't let me read the Circle books until I'm sixteen.
Really? Wow. I guess because of the violence? Green was pretty brutal.
So you read Green first?  Did it make a lot of sense that way?
