The world goes by so flippin' fast
Yet I have no strength to stand

Please pull me from this darkness

My feet have stopped working

Screeches rise as the truck charges for a drive-by. The window bursts and your children drop deader than a stone. Shoulder bleeding, wife screaming, tires screeching. Looking to the floor with your arms bleeding. Bullet holes in the wall. Children on the ground, silently screaming. Looking to your wife pleading. Falling to the floor, hope is no more. Falling to your children, no sirens screeching. Closing your eyes before you can say your final goodbyes, terror and demise.
