Brave the cold
Come out As purest gold
Tempered by the Author's hand
Ready for his commands.
These trials are not in vain
Hardships meant to train
To refine the metal
Sharpen the blade
Have you made
Into the Author's child
Warrior ready for the task
Whatever the Author may ask
Fight the Shadow
Save the lost
Tell them of what it cost
His Son to save his precious ones
.....................
Just came up with that today during English homework.

The Author's Writ (Psalm 23)
A truly great shephard the Author is;
Tenderly caring those who are His.
Protecting his own from danger unseen;
Lays peace in their hearts to sleep on the green.
Along gentle waters the Author will lead;
All who take heart and truly believe.
My wounded soul, only the Author can heal;
Restoring my sight, my joy, and my zeal.
Right is the way the Author will go;
Despite what others say that they know.
Even though He leads me through the Shadow's realm;
Fear I will not, for the Author guides my helm.
He keeps my step aright, and my eyes on that I should see.
My life is guarded by Him; so no harm can come to me.
The Author anoints His own with honor uncompared;
And rains down blessings upon them that truly love Him.
Forever will the Author care for His own;
Even them that live in the dark, desperate, and alone.
The Author will be with me for all the days of my story;
then I shall be with Him without want or worry.
SO I THE AUTHOR HAVE WRITTEN.

Hiding the sun
Spring is suppose to have begun
Tell me this
If you know
why it has to be
so !$#^%$@^ cold!
sorry, tired of it being so icy cold.

Here is a little thing that I put in one of my stories:
As I looked my attention was drawn
To the movement of a small fawn
Before it disappeared from sight
Its golden fur glistened in the light
The sun shown through the trees
And the wind blew a gentle breeze
I look at the sky so blue and bright
And wait for the darkness of night
it's not very good...

Will I be my brother’s keeper?
Do I dare think deeper?
Selfishness will fester within,
wallowing in hateful sin.
To neglect the needs of one another
is to a degree just like murder.
Suit and tie walks by,
yet turns his eyes
as a brother suffers and dies.
Isn’t that homicide?
High and mighty
preacher approaches.
Dressed to impress, headed to church.
Not the time to mess his clean shirt.
Too important to stoop to the dirt
to help a brother who is hurt.
Samaritan sees his brother lying in pain
Doesn’t think twice about a stain
Kneels to lift him from the mud
sweating from the scorching sun.
God bless the brother’s keeper.
A love so pure furthers the Kingdom.
The Artist creates with the stroke of a brush
Earth’s in a hush as He stoops.
Stoops to show us--
there is hope.
Hope abounds when we are
our brother’s keeper.
Love one another. Love yourself.
Drench the world with your overflow.
As your cup runs over
Those nearby
get their feet wet
from the living river
that God grants.
Now it’s on you to deliver.
Who will be their brother’s keeper?
