Yeah. But I was able to dry it out enough to read it, even start it over if I wanted to. But it didn't look so good and a couple of pages on the end were coming off. I think I still have it as a momento.

Yeah, love books. I acctually left a book out in the rain by accident. I was able to get it dry and finish reading it and just in the last few years replaced it with a new copy. It was Fellowship of the Ring that I did that too.

Ya even if the chapters are huge, but huge chapters are nothing now..

Reading is like having a close friend tell you there story and no matter what the story gets finished in the end... unless  something happens to the book... :/

I have seen that book before but never read it. I still get excited when I read a bunch of chapters in one day.

One of the first books that got me reading was The Tale of Despereaux it had many short chapters which made me happy and i could go around saying "i read 12 chapters already!" * Grinned*. Ya just now my brother read that cunning story and he is now recommending it to all his friends and now my Grandma ?? lol :)

Lord of the Rings is one of the books that first got me into reading. The reading bug hit me during those books and never let go. That is the only parasite that is worth not getting rid of. That will always be important.
