Still Life

So my teacher wanted us to do a digital painting of a still life. I was so nervous about this assignment and actually it didn't go to bad! I thought I'd show it to you guys. I'm not 100% finished but this is close enough.

I picked strawberry's.

As you can see its not extremely good, but It's getting there. The colors are a bit off and the reflected light looks weird. I think I mostly got the shape, but the background didn't work out super well. In the end I think I did pretty well. What do you guys think?
