Thanks for telling me about those books! I'm up for sci-fi! As for the Wingfeather Saga, the stories follow a family that's secretly royalty from a lost country. The author put quite a lot of thought into the story world, which is really cool to see! =D
Ooo, good question...there's the nostalgia with rereading good books, like visiting an old friend. But then there's the excitement of a new good series...oof that's a tough one. I really like both!
Amazing present stories XD sounds like a ton of fun!
As for the aunt question, eh, I'll probably be the responsible one. I hope I'll be fun though! I don't really know what she thinks of me right now. She has a tendency to lock eyes with me when I'm within eyesight and just stare. She's smiled at me before, but it's not her usual response. But she doesn't cry when she sees me (which is wonderful!) either. So, I don't know her opinion of me =P
(No worries! I hope you can get some sleep soon though!)
I'm glad you had fun writing it, and I'm glad you're used to braces now! Sorry that you had to get used to sore teeth though =/
Coolio! And I remember Nancy Drew! Good grief, it's been so long since I've read one of those, but from what I remember I enjoyed them! As for the others, they sound like interesting book series! (I didn't even know that Star Trek and Star Wars hadbooks!) Maybe I'll check them out when I run out of new series to read.
Some of my favorite book series are The Door Within trilogy, Hunter Brown, The Dreamtreaders trilogy, and the Wingfeather saga. (It's been a long time since I've read the Wingfeather saga...I should read those again!)
Pineapples aren't my favorite, but I don't hate them. And uh oh XD what kind of trick wrapping has Destroyer done?
Yeah, soft and cute socks are really nice! =D And okay! I'll send a picture when I can. And yup, I do like Tinkerbell! Speaking of which, just out of curiosity, did you ever play Pixie Hollow when it was still up? The multiplayer Disney game? I used to play it a LOT when I was younger!
Yeah, the projector light is really cool! There's a slight problem though...I can't find a good place in my room to put it without it blinding me while I'm trying to sleep. =P And coolio! Hmm...what about your bedroom wall? Would that be a good place to hang them?
Glad to hear that God's got you covered, and that your semester is going well for you! =D Do you have a favorite thing (or things) that you've learned about so far? And oh no. That does not sound fun. I'll pray that it goes smoothly for you. As for the bored messages, okay! XP
Life for me recently has been a bit of a blur. It's mostly been schoolwork, even to a point where it's only been schoolwork. And food. Schoolwork and food. =P But it's getting better I think! (I hope...) Also, I'm an aunt now! My sister had her baby in January, and they named her Abigail! So, yay!
Here's a crazy thing that happened recently. I slept in until close to the afternoon (on a Saturday), so my lunch was a bowl of cereal. Then I didn't eat anything else all day until we went out for dinner. While waiting, things went south. I became nauseous, dizzy, and the noises around me became muted. I was sure that I was going to throw up, and I told my mom this. She led me to the bathroom (I probably looked really bad to the people in the booths we passed XD), but thankfully I didn't throw up! After some time sitting in the stall, we went back. According to mom, I apparently had lost color in my face for a bit, but once we came back to the waiting area, color returned.
So! Now I know that I need to eat three meals a day whether I feel like it or not! XP
The poem was WONDERFUL! Great job, and thanks for sharing it with me! =D
Glad to hear that your teeth are feeling better! =D And I'll definitely be praying for you guys
Great! I'm glad that they liked them! And I'm glad that you got stuff you liked too! They sound awesome! (Speaking of books, what are some of your favorites?)
And that's a great origin story for a nickname! I'm guessing that you like pineapples then?
My Christmas went very well, thanks! It was pretty relaxed. What was great was that Matt (my sister's husband) got to be there. He's in the military now, and he's been away for quite a while. I'm glad they gave him a Christmas break!
Yup! I was excited to give Matt a couple video games, mom some slippers that she'd pointed out on a shopping trip, and dad a wireless phone charger! (Fun story for Matt's gifts. I'd gotten him two video games, and I wrapped the first one like normal. But then I was like, "I can't wrap these both the same. It'll be a dead giveaway once he opens the first one!" So I put the second one in a bag to throw him off a bit. That was fun! =P)
As for what I got, some of the things that come to mind first are really soft socks (one pair is black with a cute llama face on the toes and hearts all over it, and the other is blue with penguins on the toes!), a couple of new notebooks, new reading books, a pair of slippers that make me feel like Tinkerbell because of the huge puffballs on the ends, and a lot of Christmas lights!
(One of the lights is more like a projector. They're supposed to be displayed on the outside of the house. Dad turned it on in my room last(?) night, and it's SO TRIPPY. IT'S AWESOME =D The lights move too; it's kind of like a kaleidoscope! I really like lights =P)
Aww, thanks! For the card thing and the compliment! I like talking with you too! And okay! No worries!
Sorry for the delay! How are you doing? Any updates?
Also, Merry (almost) Christmas! Are you looking forward to it? Do you have any favorite traditions?
I'm not quite sure...maybe look at what they do and how they treat you? As for the business thing, maybe go off of what you know about the person. If they're the honest type, then it's likely that the business is legit. Or, on the flip side, if they're an introvert, it could just be that they want to be alone for a while. It may not be anything personal; it could just be that they need some recharge time.
Backtracking to your first comment, we can talk as much or as little as you like! If you want to stop talking about a subject, it shall be dropped!
I'm glad that VBS went so well for you! Sounds like you're very much appreciated and loved! =D
Well, you can talk with me if you'd like! (Since we don't know each other very well though, there's nothing wrong with not wanting to. Just thought I'd offer!)
Well, I'd like to read your poem for sure! But I don't know if I should give out my email. And I'd turn on moderated comments, but for this account, it's not actually my email, so I don't think it would work.
Hmm...This site has a personal message area though, right? At least, I remember something like it...well, if there is, would you be okay with sending it piece by piece through there?
And I'm sorry that college has been so stressful for you. I'm also sorry that you feel friendless. I've been there. It sucks. I'll pray that God will help you with both of these. I know that God can use any circumstance for good; I'm sure that He's not letting you go through this without a good reason. We may not understand it now, we may never understand it this side of heaven. But you're not alone. You never have been, and you never will be.
(Psalm 107 and 136 may be helpful for you; they are for me! Psalm 136 is especially helpful when you consider the fact that, when something is repeated in the Bible, it's especially important!)
As for how to tell when someone's a friend, I suppose they're a friend if they truly and sincerely care about you. Willing to help you out if you need it. They just like you in general! =D
That sounds adorable and I wish it was me XD There's something practically magical about the feeling of when little kids like me. Is it the same for you too?
Yeah, I can relate to that. Sometimes things in the Bible just don't make sense to me. But that's a good time to turn to other Christians to get their take on it. (Also yes! Closer to owning a dog! Yay! What kind would you like?)
Okay! I'll try the show sometime! And I'm glad that you had fun at VBS! Also, I'd like to hear your poem if you'd like to share it =D
Well, my retainers don't hurt to take out anymore! Yay!
Aaand...hmm. Is there anything you'd like to talk about?
XD yeah, I felt like that at the wedding too at times. There was even a groomsman who either pretended to know me, or actually thought that he knew me, and he gave me a hug. I mean, I'm not complaining; I really like hugs! It was just kinda odd to be hugged by an adult man that I didn't know XD
Ah yes, the wonders of technology and wifi! Always handy!
As for advice? Living the way God's Word says to is ALWAYS the best idea. Obedience to Him in the small things is just as important as the bigger stuff. And if you're feeling like you're getting lazy with it, ask God for help. I'll pray for you too
And the show sounds interesting! (I like puns too!) One question though: the show isn't overly dark, is it?
And coolio! Acoustic or electric? And how was VBS, and what'cha writing? Congrats on finishing another grade!! Sounds like your life is eventful!
As for what happened last, well, I got my braces off! FINALLY! I've had them on for 3 years! Although... it was really weird to get them off. I'd gotten so used to them, and I didn't really want them off. They were my teeth bling! I was actually slightly creeped out by all the surface area of my teeth showing once they were off.
Now I have a retainer to wear. Unfortunately, taking the bottom retainer out hurts a lot for some reason. But it's okay otherwise!
Aaaaaand, my older sister and her husband (oh yeah, did I forget to mention that my older sister got married almost a year and a half ago? The guy's awesome and I'm glad they married! ) visited us, along with another friend that we met while living in Texas! Said friend's name is Stephanie, and she's just a breath of fresh air. She's awesome
Hope I covered everything! Sorry if I missed something!
I've been doing well! As of when I'm writing this, my parents and I just got back from my cousin's wedding. That was good! It was outdoor too, and the weather was great (maybe a little on the hot side, but not too bad), which was cool!
My relationship with Jesus has grown quite a bit, which is great! A while ago, I had a mentor who I'd visit, and she helped me out a TON. She's in the Army though, so she had to move a while ago. Bit of a bummer.
And no, I haven't heard of that before. What's it about?
